JOB SUMMARY: To protect life and property and perform tasks with limited Supervision.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Graduate or Equivalent, NYS Security Certification, NYS Drivers License.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Licensure/Registration/Certification: NYS Security Guard License (at a minimum, must have completed the 8 hour training course and submitted application for license), NYS Drivers License.
Work Experience: Law Enforcement or Security Background.
Physical & Other Factors: Three hours sedentary per day. Stands, walks, bends, lifts, assists with morgue detail, and restrains patients during 1x1.
Work & Environmental Conditions: Work in and outside hospital. Work outdoors during inclement weather. May come in contact with patients who have infectious diseases.
Job Relationships (Responsible to/for, works with): Responsible to Supervisor of Security, Director of Security/Facilities and to Vice President of Facilities.
