The Director for Case Management is responsible to plan, direct, supervise and evaluate all functions related to Care Management processes. This person must apply current knowledge of clinical, business and regulatory requirements to meet strategic objectives of the organization around LOS and readmission management, patient satisfaction, financial management and quality.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required. MSN /MPH or similar advanced degree preferred. Must obtain certification in ACM, CCM, or CMAC within two years of employment.
Experience: Prior management experience preferred. At least 3 years clinical RN experience required.
