Single point of contact for patients seeking a sleep study appointment.  The Scheduling Coordinator schedules patients for the Sleep Center for all three HQ Sleep Centers, making sure to fill all beds in a timely manner, and also uses sound judgment to prioritize filling open beds when they become empty at the last minute. Handles very heavy phone volume on a daily basis, checking voicemails, and returning patient’s calls the same day. Answers the patient’s questions thoroughly, properly setting expectations, comforting the patient, and ensures the successful completion of the sleep study, while setting the stage for PAP therapy, if needed. Informs patients on the value of diagnosing and treating potential sleep disorders; explains the medical procedure and answer technical and logistical questions.


Education: High school education or equivalent.


Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a service related business, preferably in a medical office environment.  Strong organizational skills with accurate attention to detail. Possess computer literacy, preferably in MS Office. Experience with scheduling medical appointments, and managing heavy phone volume a plus. Excellent communication skills and analytical and basic problem solving skills.

2 evenings per week 4p-8p every other Sat 10a-2p
